Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Transformation, Alliance Bernstein

Koley Corte recently joined AllianceBernstein as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Transformation for the Client Group where she is responsible for developing growth strategies to drive AB’s business forward, leveraging digital and data.  Areas of current focus include sales enablement, demand generation, robotics and automation, predictive analytics and new channel development.  Koley is an outcome-oriented, data-driven senior executive with deep experience in leading strategy, marketing and digital functions globally, with a focus on driving business value (growth and margin) by enabling companies to embrace strategic change and disruption. Koley is an expert in leading large-scale, strategic, global and transformational functions and programs, with an eye towards driving measurable results, spanning data analytics and insights, change management, organizational model development and reorganizations, divestiture/integration, corporate development, finance, investments, operations, and technology.

Prior to AB, Koley was at Reed Elsevier (RELX) where she served as Senior Vice President and Head of Digital, Innovation, and Customer Acquisition Strategies, Americas Region for Reed Exhibitions (RX).  While at RX, she led a focus efforted on multichannel customer acquisition, digital engagement, design thinking to expand the experience and new product development driving revenue diversification efforts.  Prior to joining RELX, she was at TIAA, as Vice President, Head of Market & Competitive Strategy and Integrated Campaign Management, where she led teams responsible for developing the environmental backdrop with insights and implications for revenue growth and diversification strategies, branding and large-scale external communication initiatives, including complex product redesigns, focused on strengthening TIAA’s competitive edge in a dynamic where they faced increasing competition.

Previously, Koley held progressive leadership roles at American International Group (AIG), focused on driving growth across various businesses and functional areas. As Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, American Life Insurance Company (ALICO), she played a key role in the divestiture efforts and led the team in supporting the separation of the ALICO investment management capabilities from AIG and the subsequent integration into MetLife. 
 In an earlier role as Vice President, Financial Management, AIG Life and Retirement Services, she served as ‘Chief of Staff’ to the CFO of AIG Life and Retirement Services and built and led a Strategic Initiatives team focused on delivering strategic, financial, and operational initiatives for the segment.  Earlier, as an Engagement Manager for AIG Management Consulting, she led a team and programs of work for internal clients across functional areas and business lines with focus on: Strategy, Business Process Reengineering, Organizational Change Management, IT Planning, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis.

Before joining AIG, Koley held leadership roles at the Y&R Companies.

Koley received her MBA with distinction from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, with a concentration in Finance, Management, and International Business, and her B.A. cum laude in Economics and Psychology from Brandeis. Koley presently lives in Chappaqua, NY with her husband and two sons.
